I, too, am a huge true-crime fan, including stuff like The People’s Court.
Some of it is intellectual curiosity about and fascination with the forensics (how do they DO all that?!).
However, at least as much is wanting to see and understand the perpetrators’ motivations: What makes human beings do the stuff they do? Being shoved into a Narcissistic “mold” left me dangerously naive.

I continue to be flabbergasted by how consistently murder gets committed over nothing more than just a piece of A@@! NOT my wife / mother / sister / daughter / the love of my life, but hormones.
